A very tasty starter, easy to make and super comforting. The perfect dish to share and delight everyone.

  • 1 big sourdough loaf
  • Olive oil or butter to taste
  • 1 chopped smoked vegan sausage (Portuguese Vegan sausage)
  • Cheddar vegan cheese (100g)
  • Vegan mozzarella cheese (100g)
  • 300g vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • Chives, chopped to taste
  • Pepper ground to taste
  • Organs to taste

  1. Preheat oven to 200Ā°C, circulating heat.
  2. Cut a lid from the bread and dig the inside of the bread, removing all the inside crumb and cutting it into pieces. Reserve the inner crumbs
  3. In a frying pan with oil, add the chopped onion and the garlic and let it brown. After that, add the chopped farinheira and sautƩ until golden.
  4. In a bowl add this preparation together with the cheeses, mayonnaise, chopped chives, ground pepper and oregano.
  5. Place parchment paper on the oven tray. Add the bread, place the filling inside and cover with the bread lid. Wrap with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes. After this time, remove the aluminum foil and the lid from the bread. Place the reserved crumbs on the baking tray and place in the oven with the oven grill on, just enough until golden, about 5 minutes, turn the pieces of bread and leave for another 5 minutes.
  7. Turn off and eat accompanied with the crumb toasted in the oven.
