We need diet change, not climate change
Fact 1: Did you know that by switching to a plant-based diet we can reduce food production related emissions by up to 50%?
Fact 2: Did you know that it has already been confirmed that the agricultural and livestock industry is responsible for at least 14.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions and is one of the main causes of environmental degradation, from biodiversity loss to deforestation?
For these reasons, it is therefore critical that world leaders formally acknowledge the negative impact of animal consumption and commit to developing and investing in mitigation strategies in order to support and drive a fair transition to a balanced and healthy plant-based (for humans, animals and the planet).
Given the urgency of the climate situation, COP26, the meeting of world leaders with the objective of discussing and devising strategies to combat climate change, taking place from October 27th to November 12th, will be the ideal moment to present a petition to show the need to create immediate actions plans to save humanity and the planet.
Climate change doesn’t need to be overwhelming. By adopting a more plant-based diet we can face this climate war today! So, join us in this campaign and make government leaders recognize and create conditions for a change in the world food system. Sign this petition and share it around!
